The Ludo game of X Matrix

While summarising a problem in A3 report format, I came across Hoshin Kanri. While reading about it, I saw the X-Matrix picture.

This looks like a Ludo game. Imagine if you saw each of your porject milestones as a dice throw. And each dice throw in your control, where you know what number you need for the favorable jump forward. We cant get all 6 but we keep chugging forward. Another way to look at this would be to make quarterly goals each direciton, so you have your annual goals met along with progress/status at the end of eahc quarter.

The key variables of current, future state and the gap must be quantifiable.

Reverse index

Looking at this overloaded  page on typesense , I wanted to understand some of the terms. A  good example  of reverse index is when you have to search for 234, 235, 236. Here it makes sense to find the differeing last number sooner than the initial long, same numbers.  The time to  dynamically reconstruct inverted index  is important.
